Phillip Whitlock has joined LASA as the new Rec Director of Coaching. Phillip is a Louisa native who has played soccer most of his life. In his youth he played with SOCA and FYSA as well as LCHS and still continues to play in adult leagues to this day. He has coached within the LASA Rec program for several seasons. His players and their parents all love his coaching style, so it was an easy decision to add him to the team. Phillip's primary function will be creating a curriculum for all the age groups within the rec program. He has a way of simplifying concepts that his players respond to positively, so we believe his methods can help first-time coaches as well as the veterans. LASA is excited to welcome Phillip to the team and can't wait for the Spring to get started!
